The Historical Society of the US state of Missouri in the Midwest has recently moved into its new home in the city of Columbia. The Center for Missouri Studies, which opened in 2019 and is operated by the society, is dedicated to scientifically collecting, researching, and exhibiting documents and evidence on all aspects and periods of Missouri's history.

The society’s administrative headquarters are also located in the new building, which additionally offers flexible public spaces for events.
