Fixed/sliding point sword for ZeLa console made of aluminum.
The thermally decoupled ZeLa wall holder of the BWM subframe system ATK 100 is the solution for rainscreen façades with high energy requirements and used for vertical load transfer of the façade systems. It is fastened to the building substrate by fischer fixings. The centric load transfer results in structural optimization, especially in masonry. The ZeLa wall holders are thermally decoupled by the green plastic couplings. To further reduce thermal bridges, the wall holders can also be fitted with thermostops made of hard-PVC. In order to enable all common insulation thicknesses and façade offsets, the associated ZeLa swords are available in different projection lengths. To allow the thermal expansion of the profiles, the wall holders are used both as fixed and sliding points. The fixed point created by the red fixed point clip absorbs the entire dead load of the façade panels and subframe system in addition to the proportional wind loads. As a sliding point, due to the two green couplings, the wall holder also ensures that the vertical profile can slide due to thermal expansion. The sliding point is also used to transfer wind loads. These fixed/sliding points suit both applications.
