As one of the largest German state archives it keeps at 5 locations about 50 running shelf- kilometers of documents, official books, files, drawings, maps, plans as well as electronic and other data carriers covering eleven hundred years of German history. These documents are since the Spring of 2011 stored in a renovated barracks and a new magazine building in Magdeburg.

The fischer Group of Companies, Germany, expands its assortment for the restoration of two shell brickwork according to DIN 1053-1 with the mechanical cladding restoration tie VBS-M. The VBS-M is approved for application in the brick center as well in the mortar joints of the brickwork. It is especially suitable for restoration in which the insulation system is post applied to the brickwork.

The Engadina residence is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Tirano, in Valtellina, Italy, just a few kilometers from the Italian-Swiss border. Designed and built by Immobiliare San Giuseppe, it meets the highest criteria of energy efficiency and resistance to earthquakes. The project employed shapes and materials historically present in the area.
